The penguin from Schleich® WILD LIFE is an emperor penguin. Of all the penguins, he is the largest and heaviest. He is also the only one who lives this far south in Antarctica. Emperor penguins do not build a nest, but rather breed directly on the ice. While the female migrates to the sea to dive for fish after laying her eggs, the egg is incubated by the male. He puts it on his feet and puts the folds of his belly over it to keep him warm.
