The desert fox from Schleich® WILD LIFE lives in the sandy deserts of North Africa. He can hear excellently and can even use his sense of hearing to detect prey that live underground. It also gives off body heat through its large ears and is therefore perfectly adapted to the hot temperatures in its habitat. The small predator feeds primarily on insects, small rodents, reptiles, birds and fruits. The desert fox is also called the fennec fox.
